Graphic Design & Marketing Internship (NEW)

Internship Details: Intern should be available for a minimum of 15 hours a week from for 10-12 weeks. Days and times are flexible but must fall between business hours of 9am -5pm.

Requirements: Candidates should possess excellent time-management and organizational skills. Experience using Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver) and Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint) is required. A fundamental understanding of typography, photography and layout for print and web is strongly recommended.

The intern will work creatively on various marketing materials (which include all collateral and brochures, flyers, posters, logos, print advertising, web graphics & social media outreach) with art direction from the Development Coordinator. In addition to assisting with the design and production of marketing materials the intern will also be responsible for collecting research materials for various projects, helping to organize and archive jobs and photography, and creating and mocking up comps when needed.

Note: This position is unpaid, but will include a Letter of Recommendation and portfolio pieces.

  • Developing marketing materials, including printed, and web content
  • Updating current web platforms (including social media and website with drupal platform content management) and/or creating new pages and content
  • Contributing to social media presence (You Tube, Twitter, Facebook)
  • Developing materials for Fundraising & Organizing Campaigns
  • Assisting with administrative tasks as needed
