Day laborers seeking work opportunities in the Van Nuys area have started working with CHIRLA in the "Adopt a Corner" Project. This project entails keeping corner trashcans clean, place new bags when old ones are full and ensuring that every one dumps their trash in the dumpsters. Below, some pictures.
