Information & Referral Specialist

Elizabeth Rodriguez joined CHIRLA through the Public Ally Program in 2013 and became full-time permanent staff in 2014.  She provides general information and referrals on areas such as Wage Theft, Housing, Worker’s Rights, Access to Education, Access to Healthcare, and various topics on immigration. Ms. Rodriguez is a graduate of the University of California, Santa Cruz with a B.A in Community Studies, an academic program with an extensive focus on issues of race, ethnicity, class, gender, and sexuality which has provided her an understanding of the different struggles faced by the immigrant community.  Ms. Rodriguez recently completed an extensive paralegal training on Immigration issues and received her Department of Justice (DOJ) Accreditation.
