HOME IS HERE - CALIFORNIA

As the futureis debated in the Supreme Court, the people directly impacted by the program continue to have a positive impact in their communitiesMeet Julieta, originally from Argentina, she came to the U.S. at just 9-months-old. She was able to apply for #DACA just months before President Trump decided to rescind the program. Through DACA, Julieta has been able to launch her own startup Sea & Sky. The startup provides undocumented students with the resources they need to become great entrepreneurs. For Julieta, losing #DACA would mean halting the creative mind of an immigrant woman in who wants a brighter future for immigrants.

DACA has made a difference in my life by allowing
me to attend a four year university and graduate
with a Bachelors degree. Without DACA I would not have been able to accomplish my goal and most importantly my parents dream. Not only has DACA helped me graduate from a
university, but it has also helped my buy my own car, build my credit, work in the health field, and also allow me to further my career by attending a graduate program.

I am a mother to two beautiful children,  a daughter,
a sister, but also an employee. DACA has helped me
to be the best version myself.  DACA has allowed me to remain with my family and be a contributing member of society.  With DACA I have been able to not only provide for my family but also volunteer in my community and bring a little joy to those around me.

Chris
Because of DACA I have been able to provide for my siblings and parents. DACA has giving me the opportunity to be the first in my family to go to a university and graduate. It has also allowed me to work as a manufacturing engineer for Omron and further develop my technical skills.
