Join the Fight To Win Immigration Reform!

Since the launch of the Reform Immigration for America Campaign in June 2009, CHIRLA has completed over
250 legislative visits, helped build a list of 60,000 Californians for the “Text for Justice” Campaign, and assisted
100,000 community members in calling their elected leaders.

We know that the need to pass reform is greater than ever. We are committed to a strong push to pass reform in the upcoming lame duck session, and support for targeted measures such as the DREAM Act or AgJobs. Our job is to ensure that the legislative session does not end without positive advancement, including administrative measures that could do so muchto keep our families and communities united.

CHIRLA Executive Director, Angelica Salas, says “The fight for justice takes people of courage and vision for an America in which immigrants are treated with dignity and respect. We thank our CHIRLA members and supporters for being those people of courage and for continuing to fight for the rights of immigrants despite the obstacles
we face. Together, we can win and CHIRLA will keep fighting until reform is a reality.”
